tightrope I like the French verse, too...sort of. But being a French teacher, I can't help but be irked by the glaring error (to me!) in it. Jeff gets bonus points for making an effort, though!

Yeah its not quite right from what I've read. I'm not an expert on French so what do I know? I seem to remember his wife at the time translated it for him. It does sound good though. Other than English, he has bits of Spanish, French and if you count Groossss German in various songs.

Apart from the setlist, I really think Jeff should sit down and play the piano on a song or two. Like McCartney, or any other multi-instrumentalist. I mean, he does play the piano and most ELO hits were written on one. So why shouldn't he? It's very static to see the guy standing in the same spot for two hours. I agree. I've seen Paul live and when he leaves the bass and walks to the piano there's a certain excitement because you can already guess at least the type of song he is going to play next ("Let it be", "Hey Jude", "The long and winding road", etc...). I can picture Jeff playing piano on "Can't get it out of my head", for example. Which others?

I can picture Jeff playing piano on "Can't get it out of my head", for example. Which others? Steppin' Out, TELEPHONE LINE, Strange Magic, Big Wheels and the most obvious: When I Was a Boy. I can't stand watching another person beggining the song that's not Jeff.

What is he supposed to say in Spanish there? Y la biblioteca, ¿donde está? Only that, if it's true, she has a very bad pronunciation.
