This is what I think Jeff's 2018 setlist could be like. It's a little longer than his usual setlists, but he's had some time off to rest, so I think he could manage. I wanted to keep the songs in chronological order, just as an organizational thing, but I put Concerto For A Rainy day at the end because I feel that it encapsulates the essence of ELO (also Roll Over Beethoven stays the encore, because I assume Jeff likes it that way). I've also added some of my favorites into the mix (like So Fine, which also segues into Livin' Thing), and given more space to projects that seem to be ignored by Jeff (like Balance Of Power + Armchair Theatre). Thoughts? Comments?
A little added note: For songs 16) + 17), either both songs from Balance would be played, or both Ticket + Secret would be played.

It's a, interesting and nice setlist. I don't know why, but I still don't see too much songs from Secret Messages and Balance of Power for the next tours. To hear So Serious or Calling America would be great, but I think we will hear more classic songs...even Moment In Paradise is a wish of minebut it's not clear. The Strange Magic/One Summer Dream is a nice mix!

I'd be happy with that setlist, but I'd put Prologue and Twilight first, Prologue would be a fantastic way to kick things off and Twilight is the natural follow-on. I could also do without Can't Get it Out of My Head, I'd prefer something else from Zoom or Armchair Theatre.

ELO is so deep into the grooves of my brain, that I'll often react to something in the news by relating it to the band and Jeff. For instance this article: "China's Space Station is about to Fall from the Sky" And I'm thinking - that would make a great ELO song - "Fall from the sky". I mean if hearing about a satellite leaving the solar system could inspire "Alone in the Universe", then why not put "Fall from the sky" on the next album. Come on Jeff - next album please! www.businessinsider.com/chinese-space-station-crash-date-location-estimate-2018-3

" style="max-width:100%;"] What, like a spa where you'd be sprayed down with Justin Timberlake or massaged with Metallica?

"Don't Bring Me Down" was inspired by Skylab tumbling to Earth.

Apart from the setlist, I really think Jeff should sit down and play the piano on a song or two. Like McCartney, or any other multi-instrumentalist. I mean, he does play the piano and most ELO hits were written on one. So why shouldn't he? It's very static to see the guy standing in the same spot for two hours.

not my choice of setlist as such but I would have thought it would be heavily american hit centric ... so there were 25 or so hit top 100 singles (+ a few bubbling under)
wonder which of those won't make it ... there are quite few which haven't had a recent airing Strange Magic Confusion last train to London I'm alive hold on tight calling america four little diamonds

"Hold on Tight" would bring a lot of energy to the setlist for sure. Love the French verse.
