Who do you think will be the opening act? Or do you think there will be different bands, in different venues, or at points of the tour?

Good question, I have been wondering that myself but couldn't hazard a guess at who the support may be.

I'd love to see Pugwash or a reunited Tandy Morgan Band as the support act to Jeff Lynne's ELO, but that's wishful thinking on my part...

Whoever pays the most to get on the tour. Maybe a label mate

Sadly I think dillwyn has it right. But I'd love to see Pugwash too.

Barry Gibb has been mentioned as a possibility at Glastonbury. That's intriguing!

LOL! Genuinely laughed hard at that! The girls in the band HAIM are avowed JL fans, and are on Columbia. So maybe it'll be them.

Back in '81, on the Time tour, the support was an AOR band called Voyager, who weren't too bad, I vaguely recall. Perhaps if they're still around they could have a 35th anniversary reunion.
Or, come to think of it, how about The Bev Bevan Band? Come on Jeff, be the big man!!

Now we're entering the 'dream come true' arena and I like it! Voyager are without doubt the best support act I've ever seen which is quite a declaration, I know. Like so many they were essentially one-hit-wonders (Halfway Hotel) who deserved more and came up with some excellent albums that I still enjoy to this day. Paul French, are you listening?!!

Hmm, Voyager! Halfway Hotel, Judas, Total Amnesia, Captain Remus - a good lead in to ELO.
