Doesn't sound very Jeff Lynne. Wonder how many tracks he's done on the album!

Wow that is a bit of a surprise, but thinking about it perhaps it was inevitable. Jeff kept that quiet.

Doesn't sound very Jeff Lynne. I find Greg Kurstin being quoted as producer for the single.

Well I for one will wait until I've heard the results of Jeff and the other producer's labours. Jeff got to work with his idols I only think that it's fair that Gary Barlow gets to work with his.

jefflynnenut are you in a dark room rocking slowly back ward and forwards in the corner? Haha maybe one day you will awake from this nightmare.... Just forget the boyband image from the 90s. Take That are now seen as a respectable group, they have matured well and, for me, their concerts are what ELO where doing in the 70s... Ground breaking. Please please watch the whole Circus tour DVD at Wembley...! It's mind blowing. Gary Barlow has had a lot of stick over the years, but he writes perfect pop records and he idolises Jeff. You have to thank Gary for Jeffs recent comeback. Without Gary, children in need wouldn't have happened and therefore Hyde Park wouldn't have happened.

I'm hopefully optimistic. I kind of liked some of the music when Robbie Williams was in the group;catchy, lightweight pop music.
Between this, Bryan Adams, and his own solo album, Jeff certainly is back in the thick of things. Not that I'm complaining!

On this song, at least, they were definitely ELO influenced.

I went to see the last Take That tour in the Millenium Stadium in Cardiff with a bunch of girls from work. I was just there for the craic really and to have a bit of a laugh, but the production was awesome and they put on a really excellent show. It was a right good night out. Remember they were auditioned and put together at the beginning because they could sing and dance, it wasn't a random group of friends.
I reckon they are very deserving of getting the chance of a bit of Lynne sparkle. And as nickheynes said, Gary Barlow deserves to have the chance to work with his idol.
