I wouldn't be so lapidary to call it "awful", but I mainly agree: I don't like the song at all. It sounds to a boy band "everything's alright" song, kind of One Direction style.

And yeah, I hope Jeff has as little credit in the songwriting of this one as possible. Case contrary, I would start to get worried about the quality of his new upcoming album.

I Agree 88 .I mean, Jeff worked with Agnetha Falstog and look at what everyone thought of ABBA until (only recently) they turned into pop demi gods.

Not my case. I was not hating at all, I was saying that I disliked the song and why. Totally normal. There are many ELO songs I dislike and that doesn't mean I hate ELO. Besided, I always talked about the song, not the band, so I assume what you said is not applicable to me.
