I picked up today tickets to see The Move at Aston Wood Gold Club in September.

....and I've secured front Row tickets at The Roses Theatre in Tewkesbury! Sadly, it wasn't that difficult.
I'm going to do this Jeff, Bev and Roy reunion in 2016 one gig at a time if I have to!

So that's that then, as far as any full reunion is/was concerned in Brum on the 24th it seems. I still think it's strange that, for a while at least, Bev appeared to be making small overtures to Jeff regarding a reconciliation of some kind but then Jeff responded with some very uncomplimentary comments even while negotiations were meant to be ongoing? It's clear Bev has decided he's wasting his time with Jeff (and Roy too it would appear) and has finally accepted its an irrepearably broken relationship. Shame. What is it with rock musicians and grudges? Nevertheless, enjoy the shows as even partial reunions will do at this stage of things.

I wasn't laying it on Jeff. He clearly has his reasons for rebuffing Bev's (apparent) attempts at some kind of reconciliation and that's his right. Equally though you can't blame Bev for thinking 'stuff it then ' and doing his own thing. As I said in another thread, my personal view is that life is too short for this kind of BS and it's gone on now for 30 years (or 45, according to Jeff ). Maybe Bev misunderstood his relationship with Jeff in ELO and it wasn't what he thought and Jeff really did see him as not much more than an employee like the others, (in fact, perhaps there is more to that "45 years" dig and Jeff was saying something about the true nature of his relationship with Bev and not just continued bad blood) I don't know? Nothing's likely to change now and if those involved are OK with that then so be it but there's no point having regrets when it's too late to do anything about them.

If Bev had 1/3 share up until Jeff bought him out,it's unlikely that Jeff saw him as an employee..

I had a message from Aston Wood Golf Club over the weekend that the concert has been cancelled and I can have a refund, no reason given for cancelling Maybe Bev is joining Jeff for the US dates, on second thoughts maybe not.

I have now got front row tickets for their date at Cannock, hopefully that won't get cancelled. There are plenty of seats available so it doesn't look like it selling very well

Bev posted this on Facebook today: "The forthcoming gigs with The Move will now not be taking place, however I am very pleased to announce that those gigs I will now be doing with Bev Bevan's Zing Band. If you have tickets you will be contacted by the theatres and will be able to use The Move tickets. I will post later about the shows and the band." I shall still go and see him. www.yeatesentertainment.co.uk/touring-shows/all-shows/bev-bevans-zing-band/666/

Definitely. If Bevey cancels, maybe Jeff will step in?

Strange, I wonder if Roy had something to do with it? Still, never mind the "Zing Band", Bev, how about forming The Move Part 2?

Bev, how about forming The Move Part 2? I think that would be The Next Move.

I had a letter today from the venue, the reason they give for The Move not playing is because of Trevor Burton's departure and the Move will do no gigs for the foreseeable future.
They say the new BB Zing Band will play Move and ELO songs.
