Here's the last video I've made. I didn't do a lot of changes to it since the last time I worked on it except for some color grading. This is one of my favourite songs ever. I love the lyrics!

Yea, I think I agree. This album has to be one of my favourites as well.

For a while now I have another idea for a new video, but I need a ridiculously high res scan of the inside cover of the Out of the Blue album (you know, the inside interior of the elo ufo) Who could help me get that!? Everything I have found on the interwebs is just too small...
I want to try if I am able to make it 3d-ish using programs like apple-motion or after effects.

Thats outstanding dokkie. That is a really underrated song from one of the best albums ever and you did it justice. Thanks for sharing!

Just watched dokkie 's previous two vids, both brilliant. In fact the vid for Latitude 88 North was a lot better than the song itself And as with the Eldorado clip it was really good to be reminded just what a great song Mission is

Would it work if I took a picture of the inside of mine and posted it here? I’ve only got a phone camera though...

was at the river yesterday and saw a 27 foot sailboat named "Discovery" now I'm going to have to find out who owns it and see if they are a fan of the album or just a wannabe explorer (perhaps both)

Just heard on Ken Bruce (BBC Radio 2) an absolute classic ... The Way Life's Meant To Be. At long last one of the lesser known tracks, also remember Johnnie Walker playing Ordinary Dream on more than one occasion. This is what radio should be ... introducing the listener to hidden gems from albums.

I heard Don’t Bring Me Down on the radio earlier this week. Now that the concert is past for all us Sac area folks they’re back to playing only the same ELO song on the radio...glad they are still playing ELO though.

Absolutely BlueMission - and welcome to this terrific band of sisters and brothers The late great Terry Wogan was a fan and played quite a few different tracks over the years. I first heard Tightrope on one of his shows - asking myself "What's that?!" "Why have I never heard THAT before?!" You must understand this was BANWR (before A New World Record - before I'd listened to that album, to be accurate). Sir Terry also played Alright and Getting To The Point - which he seemed to like a LOT. Of course, we wouldn't be in this position if it weren't for Terry's successor - Chris Evans - another fan.

I heard "Turn To Stone" on the River in Modesto/Stockton this morning. They usually only play DBMD and MBS, so I was gobsmacked to hear that.

I totally agree, I made a point somewhere else that Radio 2 is the only station that plays such a wide range of songs. I detest stations like absolute, heart, classic etc where the emphasis is on the DJ rather than the music, horrible stations.
