My thoughts tend to track along the same lines as those elucidated by ShardEnder but only to add that a new album and the set list for the USA dates could indicate whether Jeff intends to shake things up. So, the basic question is: Will Jeff coast or shake things up? He's 76. How much shaking do you want? Maybe trembin'! In all seriousness , I think that giving a tour the moniker "over and out" maybe not only means a last tour but an indication that we're due a release of stuff that Jeff has been sitting on over the years. Perhaps cleaned up and worked on to the extent that he's happy to let us hear it. He did say that he's got loads of cassettes of material . If he does play in England I think I'll go this time. I sat out the FOON tour because of the lack in change to the set list but if it is the last time i'll put up with the familiarity.

I'm wondering if he might take a break after the US tour, and tour Europe and the UK in 2025? It's cool that they added some more US dates, but I hope Jeff has a chance to rest in between! I'm not sure about the others, but the two in Philly are definitely back to back.

I'd rather see Jeff get the European dates set first rather than more USA dates.
And I'd cheer for Australia to get a few dates, unless the doctors have warned him against that. Our friends Down Under need to see Jeff's ELO - and throw in 2-4 gigs in Japan, another location sorely bypassed since 1978.

You guys realize the venue books the act not the other way around right? Adding shows where a venue has sold out makes financial sense. It brings in more money without added travel expense.

I was thinking about the physical demands on a 76-year old, especially if there is a UK leg.
Other thought I had, maybe as he will need to freshen it up set wise maybe replace handle with care with end of the line.

True, but Jeff is not 40 years old anymore (he was 38 when the original ELO quit doing gigs in 1986). I would hope that he and his manager would ensure that Jeff's health comes first before the money. Which I am sure he has enough of.
It would be great if he could shine a little love on his fans in Australia and Japan.

I see a lot of people talking about how old Jeff is and how grueling the tour is going to be. This is the kind of thing that really bugs me. If he is not capable of touring, then he shouldn’t. My guess is he is a millionaire many times over and probably doesn’t need the money. These tickets cost a lot of money and I fully expect him to go out and play at 2 1/2 hour show because that is the minimum that should be played for a major artist.

I really don’t wanna hear about how old he is or how many nights he is playing. He knows what it’s like to go on tour and if he couldn’t do it then he wouldn’t. If the only way he can do it is by playing a short show then he shouldn’t be doing it at all. I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed that he will be able to deliver the goods

Oh how I hate such arrogant, selfish comments. Has it ever occurred to you that this could be his thank you to the fans, which was originally supposed to take place in 2020? By the way, Jeff Lynne explained in connection with Wembley 2017 why he is usually only on stage for 90 minutes.
