So that goddamn turkey was in bed with you two? All along? And he was the one who laundered the money for you? I should have know it was no coincidence that all 3 of you suddenly owned private jets, luxury yachts and real estate in Beverly Hills, all while Horacewimp , me and the other guys were busting our asses to write another hit because the THM management told us that one was not enough, not even to abbandon our tiling jobs. Now I want to have a look at those books. And when I read unomusette 's post I got all excited thinking the reason she wanted a reunion was all about the music and the good ol' times, fool of me... And given that we are going to get offended so easily, in your ennumeration you forgot to mention asexuals, so I'm feeling most offended by your omision now. The ‘ell you talking about yachts, jets, and what nots? I smell a soon to be roasting turkey here. That GD Patrice likes to be referred to as “they” meaning gender-neutral.
Sorry for forgetting your sexual group.

How lovely to see a proper pic of Patrice, nice find BIuebird ! Although I must agree with me bestie BSJ , no yachts or jets ever made their way to Wales, that bling-tastic turkey did enough splurging of his ill-gotten gains for all of us combined *looks up recipes for stuffing* Anyway Helmut83 , don't forget your other blockbuster videos, you definitely did one for Summer Night Safari and at least one Street Next Door song (and they were FAB!)

Apparently I wasn't contractually allowed to do so. Let's hope Patrice, Horace or BSJ don't notice this, otherwise they'll be suing me for some more easy money. Yup, that's how bad the band ended...

Admiral Albert Halsey, Attorney, CPA, Gerbil in Residence of Horace Wimp's ELO Fan Form and Consumer of Forum Forms, notified me and said, “After Patrice’s meetings with Mohammad bin Salman, Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, all questions will be answered."

Oh, now the gerbils and sultans are getting involved in this mess too! The fuss is complete! We could make a 4-season long series with this.

Ain't it grand!
Well, it will be hands across the water, a cup of tea and butter pie that will help set this straight.

In case you haven't noticed yet, I'm a bird nut. This is my rainbow lorikeet, Disco. One reason I love birds is that they tend to be musically inclined. Mr. Disco here happens to love ELO! He enjoys dancing and attempting to whistle along. I'm pretty sure that "Rockaria!" is his favorite song, as he does his most animated dancing and whistling to it. At some point I will try to take a video clip of this to share.
Disco is gorgeous. Especially so because he has plumage reminiscent of the ELO spaceship .

Sometimes, when I am doing the dishes, I bring Disco out and set him up on the handle of our old step ladder with some paper towels underneath him. I usually put music on because he likes it, and it makes the monotonous task of washing dishes more bearable. The most recent survivor polls had me in the mood to listen to Out of the Blue, so I put it on yesterday to see what he would do. I don't think I had played it for him before, as I typically prefer to listen to it on headphones. It's not Rockaria, but I did get a couple little clips of him enjoying some other songs. I will apologize now for the poor lighting in my kitchen (also, it could be cleaner), and for my laughter. I was trying to stifle it, but he's so funny sometimes! This is one of many reasons why I could never be a professional videographer. Some of the whistling is me, trying to encourage the camera shy birdie to join in. : He seemed to really enjoy "Sweet Talkin' Woman," so at least my bird has good taste. *glares at early poll elimination results*
I wanted to see what his reaction to "Summer and Lightning" would be, as it is one of my favorites. He seemed to really get into it at the end! Unfortunately, I didn't capture his reaction to the change up in the middle, which was priceless. He was sort of swaying calmly to the music, but when that bit started, he sat up really straight (which is a sign of surprise for birds) and did a great double-take, as if to say "I wasn't expecting that!" I think you two had wanted to see some videos of Disco enjoying ELO? Plus, since "Summer and Lightning" is one of the clips, I couldn't not tag Helmut!

Brilliant, BIuebird ! What a boss Disco is! Very funny bird, in "Sweet Talking Woman" he was like "man, this rocks, give me more of it!". At 0:09 he whistles along the phrase of the end of the chorus (...talking woman...) and then he sang along other parts as well. But the conclusive proof of Disco's good musical taste is how he let himself get carried away by "Summer and Lightning". At about 0:32 he seemed to have said "I don't care what they say, I'm enjoying this like crazy", left prejudices aside and started dancing frantically following the rhythm of the song. In the end he wanted to keep on dancing even though the song had faded out. Thanks for the video, BIuebird , really funny. A few of our forum mates could learn a thing or two from Disco when it comes to appreciating S&L.
