Have OMD ever done an unplugged album... ? No they haven’t, they had done a few concerts with the Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra though. Their melodies are strong enough and relatively simple arrangement compared to an Orchestra

This is an original composition I wrote about 30 years ago called "Save Me Now", (not Jeff's song). For once it's not an instrumental. It's a fairly straight forward song about being positive generally. There's no profound message in the video, just me mucking about. I started out intending to have superheroes all over the chorus, (saving people) but I did exactly that in my last video. So instead I concentrated on the 5 4 3 2 1 bit in the bridge. The ones in the song were pretty much all I could think of. One or two golden memories for the more mature viewer.....(like me). Hope you enjoy it. I absolutely love this!

Hi again everyone. I've uploaded another cover to soundcloud This time a version of tears for fears Mad World . This also has a bit of the feeling of the version by Gary Jules . I quite like the serenity of the melody with lots of arpegiators and organs and percussion adding to the "madness" of the chorus. This was a pure fluke and I didn't realise what it was until i listened back to the track . Anyway I hope you like it . Excellent cover, nickheynes! It conveys a very peaceful feeling. Did you use maracas or what is that hissing percussion sound at the chorus?

Hi Helmut!! Thanks ! All the sounds are through Garageband so not organic at all The hissing percussion is a shaker sound from one of the garageband drum kits. If I remember correctly I just whacked the low B flat key in a rhythm I thought fitted. I didn't quantize anything (apart from the drum beat which is a loop so didnt need it in the first place!) as I wanted the track to have a bit of a natural feel even though it's all electronic.

Here's a movie themed song I've been working away on for a couple of months. I do have other movies I like but these were the only ones I could shoehorn into a 3 minute song. Hope you like it and it brings a smile to your face.

I thought this had something of a 'Spaghetti Western' feel, hence the title. It's sort of "A Fistfull of Hull". Hope you enjoy it.
