So here it is first track from the NEW(!) forthcoming SirenBlue album. Started, before covid times, as an EP for old times sake. Then through circumstance and just enjoying the process, we started using the individual days between lockouts in our favourite studio turned into a full album. It is due out next week. Hope you like it and thank you for listening.

Good luck with the new album dillwyn, from the tracks you have shared with us I’m sure it will be a great success, all of the members of SirenBlue should be very proud of their achievements.

Thanks Horace, yes everyone is very happy with where we have ended up. There are always changes I would have continued to make but after all this time and the lockdown, it was equally important to actually get it out there. ... I hope anyone who takes the time to listen listens can find something to enjoy ... it is not very ELO though... couple of strings here and there but not main themes.
Thank you BSJ and Last train too

Thank you Horace, it is always fun seeing someone else's vision. I explained the song to him and he came back with two versions .. this one and a blue filtered version...we had an internal meeting and asked a few friends and relatives to vote ... this version won out 60/40. Some wanted to keep the blue theme, others thought that had been done enough with the lyric videos... either way it is fun and light and given the song I thought it was smashing.
Thank you lasttrain and orioles for listening

Videos are very well made dillwyn, There is a shade of ELO on honest. Thank you, yes the people who do them have extraordinary talents. This one was made in Argentina, the previous lyrics ones in Denver. As for Honest it was my attempt at a 60's/90's throwback tune, I tried to make the chord changes sound a little like George Harrison. I avoided the slide guitar trap but couldn't resist adding a 12 string AND a dulcimer (which do similar jobs really) and hammond to make it feel a little more of the time. Thanks Uno

I felt this one also, (like the last one), had shades of 'Spaghetti Western'. It must be because I've recently watched the "Trilogy". The video is me trying to tell the story of 'John Steinbeck's' 'Grapes Of Wrath' in pictures. Briefly it's about one family (amongst many such families) who are forced off their land and become '1930's dustbowl refugees.' They head west to 'California' a land of 'Milk and Honey', or so they thought..........
