Fellow music lovers,
With great humility, I present to you a new song by Unomusette, Helmut and BSJ,
“Summer Night Safari”
This song is another outstanding production by Mr Producer, our own, Helmut. The leading leader in the “original music” movement for Horace Wimps ELO Fan Forum. It’s a great musical culture he’s developing for us. His previous, well received, productions have included multi-talented forum members. Including animals from Horace’s farm!
And who was dragged into this movement with a lot of numbing arm twisting and ignored pleas for mercy? Me! BSJ, gifted chronicle writer about ninja groupies who protect a wearer of excessive eyeliner and mascara.
This is Unomusette at her best with her feisty wordplay. It’s a remarkably catchy tune with the genius of Helmut’s musicianship backing her. Unomusette challenged Mr Producer in a big way. But without a proper Diva to produce, how can Mr Producer improve himself?
We kicked around a few thoughts on what you might expect from this song. “When you’re next dropping off to sleep, you might bring this song to mind for a more electrifying dreamtime” Or “If this song sends you to sleep, that’s not necessarily a bad thing, we met our objective”.
And this song introduces Eduardo, Helmut’s one year old nephew, an up and coming rock star prodigy who hit his mark every time. Pretty cool.
I had enormous fun working on this with these two great friends. Who are, by the way, unbelievably talented.
So, heat up the old stereo tubes, find your theater glasses for watching the bonus video interpreting the song, and enjoy.

I will too will listen to this tomorrow but I look forward to hearing it, I'm sure it'll be fabulous  It is a shame I don't possess the capability of writing songs, only writing stories but I am very fascinated by the song writing process hence why I love to interpret songs I love! I'm happy though to sing cover songs of ELO when no one is in the house or in the shower haha |

Well were do I start, what an excellent composition  , the space lyrics are great love "Cosmic Wind in My Hair" and who knew we have another singer and songwriter on the forum well done Uno. We have Helmuts trademark accompaniment with great harmonica and guitar solos , Eduardo as the alien  and the one and only BSJ with the spoken section mentioning the space goat  Is that a nod to Jungle I hear with the alarm clock ending, well done to you all, sounds like you had a load of fun in recording Summer Night Safari and it has turned out great.    By the way goat sounds are a trademark of Horace Wimp Farms Ltd, I will expect some royalties  |

No flowers for me???  When I first heard them talking I told them the very same thing (that they have beautiful voices), but they got it against me saying I was a cheap flatterer. |

Apparently it's quite hard to see them with the naked eye, you need to be looking through a camera or other type of lens?
