Hi everyone . This is a bit different for me and I'm not sure if it should be posted here ( If not please movie it someone). It's not original but it's not an Elo cover . It's an acoustic piano only version of OMD's Pandora's box .One of my other favourite bands. Any way it's take 1 so a bit crunchy but , anyway I hope you like. soundcloud.com/user943457569/pandoras-box-acoustic-31052021-19Beautiful. There are some interesting chord changes. Lovely bit of piano. Thanks for sharing it.

I really enjoyed that, it's so calm and restful. If you're going to do a cover it should be like this, a different take from the original

Well done, man.

Just had a another listen to it and it sounds REALLY good! Rather melancholy in places if I may say so but so different to the original...

Sorry to be late to the party Nick, loved it.
Dare I say in some ways I prefer it to the OMD original arrangement, that late 80's early 90's sound leaves me very cold.
As the lyric is so good, it would be interesting to hear a voice on this pure piano style
Have OMD ever done an unplugged album... ?

Have OMD ever done an unplugged album... ? No they haven’t, they had done a few concerts with the Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra though.

I enjoy both versions. Probably because I heard nickheynes rendition first, I like it better, though.

This is an original composition I wrote about 30 years ago called "Save Me Now", (not Jeff's song). For once it's not an instrumental. It's a fairly straight forward song about being positive generally. There's no profound message in the video, just me mucking about. I started out intending to have superheroes all over the chorus, (saving people) but I did exactly that in my last video. So instead I concentrated on the 5 4 3 2 1 bit in the bridge. The ones in the song were pretty much all I could think of. One or two golden memories for the more mature viewer.....(like me). Hope you enjoy it.
