LFC deserved it but Flamengo were tough opponents. The Oscars are in the post though for the Brazilians who were masters of the art of diving if anyone from Liverpool dared to breathe on them...

If it had been a boxing match, Flamengo would have probably won (Up to Firmino victory goal).
Not the best Liverpool I've seen so far, I think they were really lucky last night.
And don't forget the chance Lincon had to score at '120, incredible mistake...

It wasnt LFC at their best but I think we were the better team. Better finishing from us and it would have been 4-0,their goalie was brilliant too but the sour taste that i have is reserved for the ref who was VERY poor...

The Oscars are in the post though for the Brazilians who were masters of the art of diving if anyone from Liverpool dared to breathe on them... Tell me about it. Brazilians are our classic archrivals and we've been having to deal with their diving since football started. Everyone dives a bit these days, but Brazilians take it to another level.

The way things are going it seems quite optimistic to think that they'll be able to finish the regular competitions (UCL, U Europa League, different domestic leagues), even with the extra month they'll gain with the suspension of the Euros.

I don't know how much more tragedy our Cardiff City has to take ... We have lost a beautiful man today Peter Whittingham at only 35.... www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51928263He was a hero to my kids, we have his autograph on the wall, we will keep him in our hearts forever. Our love goes to his young family

I read about his fall and head injury a few days ago, sad to see he has passed away.
RIP Peter Whittingham

Yes the on going saga around this is painful for everyone. the uk police are no longer following this up, the french police are investigating some other possible legal issues (found by Cardiff lawyers), the court of arbitration of sport is going to sit and decide whether it was even a legal transfer.... in the meantime Cardiff have set up a fund for the family and are requesting support from others too but it just rumbles on and on
The other thing that has happened to Cardiff on Jan 1 this year, another former player Chris Barker (38) was found dead at his home, just up the road from my house in Cardiff.
it has been a torrid time this last 12-18 months ... it is just so cruel at the moment.
