It's funny you should mention crickets BSJ I had a quick look at the loops included with the program I have this lunch time and was particularly impressed with the crickets and a sheep, not forgetting the cockerel. Excuse him, people, I think he meant "I checked out in the farm and I was particularly impressed with the crickets and a sheep, not forgetting the cockerel"... didn't you, Horace?

Of course, of course, the farm, I don't know why I keep making these mistakes recently must be my age, or thinking too much about Chereene

Is it too late to request some elephant trumpeting? No farm is really complete without elephants, is it? Plus they could provide the rain if you give them some buckets of water to dip their trunks into

Well I had some fun tickling the animals down on the farm to get them to make their noises in the correct spots, it all went to plan except at the very end when they run riot. I think I might have over done it this time, let me know what you think, oh and I added a little tambourine playing for good measure. Raining in the Farm

Hahahaha... once again, excellent, Horace! What an artist! It seems like there was quite some activity on the farm the day you recorded and things went a bit out of control (when was the last time you fed the animals?), but there's always an artistic side in chaos and you certainly found it. That tambourine though... that's the only bit I would dare question... I think we are better with me on the tambourine and you squeezing the animals. And well, as you know, Jeff Lynne has been often criticized for overloading the songs, so if those same critics get to analyze our work there's a certain possibility that they would say something similar about it (you know how that's called... envy), but I don't I don't think that's so.

That's fine Helmut I can easily get rid of the tambourine I'm best sticking to what I know, animal noises, and leave the proper instruments to you Did you spot the alien talking my daughter got me add in?

Alien talking? I've heard animals galore, and some other strange creatures too, but I'm not sure I can identify any as alien. Which minute exactly is it on?
And don't bring yourself down, animals are proper instruments if used correctly, which you do.

BTW, I would love to have the two-headed monster give it's opinion (or their opinion, if you count the two heads as separate beings) analyzing this masterpiece. I know it typically gets active by this time of the day. BSJ unomusette

Yawn.... Just woke up!
The Rooster had me rolling! Good placement with the crickets. Nice echo on the cow at end. Pretty, pretty good!
Agree with Helumt83 - have no clue what some of these animals are.

Agree with Helumt83 - have no clue what some of these animals are. Let me add one more thing: after giving it another listen, I've come to have some suspicions. If you listen carefully, at 0:13 starts a sound that is supposed to be a cow... but to me it sounds more like a human trying to sound like a cow. Would it be possible that Horace is faking some noises himself and trying to have us believe that they are all real animals?
