and an alien communication at 2 mins 56 secs. Ha! I've spotted it, although to me it still sounds a bit more to a frog croaking from inside a pipe. ...although, now that I think about it, in my neighbourhood frogs croaking are more common than aliens communicating, so that may be the reason why I hear it like that.

I've removed the tambourine and added the new file to Dropbox you will get the revised file by using the same link I posted above. The noise at 0:13 is from the collection I acquired during my visit to Jurassic Park, it is a brontosaurus growling

For a moment I thought someone had been faking noises, but now I know it was a brontosaurus so everything's alright. Sorry to doubt you, man. Let's have a listen at the new production work...

Yawn.... Just woke up!
The Rooster had me rolling! Good placement with the crickets. Nice echo on the cow at end. Pretty, pretty good!
Agree with Helumt83 - have no clue what some of these animals are. Let me add one more thing: after giving it another listen, I've come to have some suspicions. If you listen carefully, at 0:13 starts a sound that is supposed to be a cow... but to me it sounds more like a human trying to sound like a cow. Would it be possible that Horace is faking some noises himself and trying to have us believe that they are all real animals? Has anyone seen a photo of H W? Who is he really?

Your Hoofs are a problem!? Look at your computer!?
My white car has black stripes and a buddy calls it the cow. You're in good company!

*arrives at speed*
What's all this I've been missing? Should I listen to the version from Page 7, or is there a new and even better version?
Mainly though, I'm suspicious of the brontosaurus. I'm sure they don't growl, because most growly creatures have sharp teeth. A brontosaurus eats veggies so I imagine it would moo like a cow with a deep voice. Or in moments of extreme stress it might bleat like a very big sheep. I mean, for all we know they might have had woolly coats. You can't tell from a fossil what sort of outside they had.

All I know from him is that he is something like this but I've never seen his face.

Oh, come on, Unomusette, there is no reason to mistrust anyone. Who else other than a brontosaurus could have made that sound? An apatosaurus or a diplodocus maybe, but those creatures are believed to be extint as no one has spotted any of them for years, so that would leave brontosaurus as the only possible source of those terrifying bellows.

Well, for what we see in that picture, he could well be a cow wearing suit and a hat.

In the absence of the new improved version, I've listened to the version on Page 7 and must say it's completely brilliant. jefflynnenut must be quaking in his boots, and rightly so. I don't think it can be improved.

I don't think it can be improved. That's the correct version. And yeah, Jefflynnenut, seeing that he can't beat us, apparently decided to collaborate with some bits too. Imagine, for him it must be like he could join the Beatles...

Aha, no wonder it was so good and couldn't be improved The whole jefflynnenut joining in is the kind of story which is made into inspirational films. Maybe this could be a whole new area for the forum? BSJ and I would be very pleased to apply the makeup...
