Hahaha! Man, you are a freaking genius! That was fantastic. I love how you start ringing the cowbell and after a while the cow moos, like stimulated by the sound of the cowbell. The dog barkings were placed exactly at the right moment, when the song cuts (a bit like "Four little diamonds"). And that piece at the end to close the song... genius, pure genius. Thanks for the contribution. Jeff would be proud. PD: I'll have to reupload it to YouTube so everyone can appreciate our song in it's full, updated brilliance. Thanks for the encouragement Helmut, shouldn't that be udder brilliance

Could my song feature some kind of performance (like voice or guitar) from the one and only Jrmugz? Anything you need, just let me know. Sure? OK, how do you see yourself doing a bit of singing? And jefflynnenut, what about you? Could you play a guitar solo?

This is epic, I love it, especially the thunderstorm opening.

I'm rusty but can try. Jim Great! What if we name the song "Raining in the farm"? I mean, Horace's opening bits leave us little choice. Thunders and cows mooing... naming it "Spring love" wouldn't make much sense. Maybe according to the title we then can write some lyrics for you to sing.

Hey, Horacewimp: as you will see, I have been working on our new hit. I added some percussion to it (bongos, tambourine and jam-blocks). I tried to add some congas but for some reason they sounded terrible (probably the microphone is not suitable to catch the sound correctly). Well, given that we are a songwriting, recording and producing duo, in the same way I added some bits I'm sure that some output from you and your animals wouldn't harm. Only this time, don't discriminate and try to make others participate more. I know chickens and goats are not as musical and docile as cows or dogs, but maybe if you squee... I mean, if you ask them gently, maybe they agree to collaborate. What do you say?

Mellow out the animal sounds by using crickets soft chirps and creaks, H W?
The bongos and jam-blocks give the song some needed depth, Helmutt83 and am enjoying this! Who is going to be brave and do the vocals?

Oh! That's right! Do a Once Upon A Time type writing, letting all write a line?

Oh! That's right! Do a Once Upon A Time type writing, letting all write a line? That would be fantastic, but almost impossible to make it fit the melody afterwards. In any case, we could try and see what comes out of it. Until now all we know is that the song will be called "Raining in the farm", "Raining in the country" or something like that.

It's funny you should mention crickets BSJ I had a quick look at the loops included with the program I have this lunch time and was particularly impressed with the crickets and a sheep, not forgetting the cockerel.

I am sure bit of rewriting will need to be done. Of course we need a theme. It would be nice to contribute. Kick it around!
