Hello, forummates! The Italoargentowelsh band Street Next Door are having an extraordinarily prolific 2017, which means a second song is out this year. We are pleased to share with you our 4th single "Windows Down" (no, it's nothing against Microsoft's operative system). Because we do different each time, on this occasion vlogdance took full charge of the vocals department, including backing vocals in the form of three-voice harmonies; our piano maestro Buttler had to to work extra hours providing arrangements and solos on his acoustic guitar while not being released from his usual duties on the keys; and I'm to blame credit for the lyrics, while my harmonica makes a return to the scene after having been absent in our last single. Lastly, we wanted our song to acquire the status of cult song, and what better way to achieve that than inviting our forum leader Horacewimp , the man, the myth, the legend himself, for a brief cameo (or mic-eo), so he's our guest artist in this song. CREDITS: - Vlogdance: lead vocals, backing vocals. - Buttler: piano, acoustic guitar. - Helmut83: music, synthesizers, harmonica, electric guitar. - HoraceWimp: vocal interjection. Listen to it on headphones! In case you'd like to download the song, here's the MP3: www.dropbox.com/s/glgcmjoymi62f6o/Windows%20Down.mp3?dl=0

Wow what a very catchy tune, love it. Guitars up front, keyboards, harmonica, vocal harmonies and some brummie idiot what else can you ask for in a song? Love the lyrics and great singing from Vlog, we would expect nothing less Well done to Helmut83, Buttler and vlogdance The Street Next Door have another hit on their hands.

Yes! Having recently returned from a lengthy road trip I can completely identify with this freewheeling song, pretty much literally a breath of fresh air, bravo to Street Next Door Great to hear vlogdance's always tuneful voice bringing Helmut83's lyrics to life, and some lovely solo-ing from Buttler's twinkling keys and Harmmonica Man. And what a coup, enticing our glorious leader Horacewimp to contribute, talk about the icing on the cake (or rather the fly-thing in the cakehole*) Nice bit of promotional video too, you do spoil us. Surely it can't be long before Street Next Door have a hit album, or at least an EP, galloping up the hit parade? And to think we heard you here first, wahey! *ancient UK word for mouth, honest

There is no singling out any of you talented artists for praise, because there isn’t a winkle in the whole song. Lyrics, music, instrument playing, and vocals are all dependable in making this fun song great! Well, maybe a shout out to the harmonica (always nice to hear it), acoustic guitar (masterful), and the three part harmony (Damey will be proud).
Bravo our fearless leader! Well done! Reminds me of Jeff quietly saying, "It's still going, you know" after the song “Save Me Now”, (the last on Arm Chair Threatre). (Ha! H W says, mosquito, I say masquito! So, had a hard time understanding the hell he said!)

Superb!
I love how the song builds in a Jeff-like way. You know, that thing Jeff does to songs which makes you all excited and forces you to sing along!
Favourite bits include: the guitar, it's very Jeff, short and sweet and perfect. The piano, just right, not a note out of place. Backing vocals/harmonies, that's very Jeff as well and very beautiful to boot.
I keep comparing things in this song to Jeff's ways but that's because Jeff is the Lord of All Music and the True Genius of the Pop Song.
This is such a catchy tune, I've already got it lodged in my brain . If this were an ELO song it would be on Secret Messages, maybe?

Well of course all great producers build on their past creations, each one better than the last

Yeah, but I can't remember the 3-voice harmony in "Summer Night Safari" having been my creation.
You won't sue us for plagiarism, will you? We can settle this down, I can send you a bit of asado and dulce de leche and I'm sure Buttler has an excellent lasagna to ship to you.
