Or how about a speaking part if the singing scares you? Something sultry in an Italian accent would be a BIG winner

You are all very kind, thanks for your comments! The lyrics are the best yet of any TSND track. "Star of the trek"
Full marks for the Lynne-alike guitars. I also love the piano.
I raced over here with more excitement than a Harry Potter fan on publication day to hear this song! Thanks queenofthehours ! Did you spot the Beatles' reference in the lyrics? 'A little help from a friend who's gonna carry that weight'

I see we have some new posts. Helmut83, vlogdance, Buttler, and elophile - excellent work on 'The Street Next Door - Instant Llama'! What a catchy tune and great production you guys put together. So creative and full of good energy. I am definitely feeling that Instant Llama Karma! Another successful collaboration by members on this forum; there is certainly no shortage of talent here.

Hi, guys! I want to share with you “Inacwg”, a new original song which I wrote a few weeks ago and just finished recording with the help of two great artists from this forum: Welsh multitalented writer and singer vlogdance on the voice and co-writing lyrics, and Italian piano maestro Buttler on the keys (every piano bit that you can hear is his). This time the song isn’t 100% organic, as I made both the drums part and the bassline by computer, but I think it was what this kind of song needed. I also put up a small set of photos so you can listen to the song from YouTube without having to download it, but the images don’t necessarily match the song or it’s lyrics. In case you want to download the song in MP3 format, here's the link: www.dropbox.com/s/82k02zu8s6aogao/Inacwg.mp3?dl=0DISCLAIMER: any similarity between the lyrics of this song and any experience you may have lived in your life is mere coincidence… I swear! Sorry so late to the party. But as usual I love the tune. Looking forward to the next!

Ha! Thanks, jiminyjellysolo , glad you liked it. If you look at the date this was published it says May 30th 2015, more than 2 years ago, so you might have been even later than you thought . In fact this was our first song, the one which gave birth to the Street Next Door, but this thread recently came to life again because Horace made a reference to Wilf Gibson (the cactus).

Ah I see. Don't think I'm cut out for this whole "date and time" thing.
Umm...perhaps your music is timeless?
