What? You had a crush on a doll? I mean, who hasn't gone for a roll in the hay with a doll, but falling for her is a very different thing! My opinions on your girls: Frida is a fine lady. Agnetha is just hot. Marie Osmond is totally average.

I was just saying "she's a doll" as in "she's very beautiful", but she's as human as they come, yes! You don't need to rethink your childhood and consequently your life all over again. smiley-music025

When he first came on the scene I had rather a weakness for Goran Ivanisevic. I'm a tennis fan anyway, but his matches were unmissable. I was living in France at the time, so I got to see him play at Bercy once. (He beat Todd Martin of the USA. I was sitting next to a group of American fans, so cheered quietly... but gleefully. Didn't get close enough to hand Goran any Welsh cakes, though.) All that lovely hair, the slightly sad expression, that Eastern European look. Ah, yes. (Did I hear someone sniggering at the back? Give over...!)

You are keen on the "teddybear" kind?

my preferences are quite varied Helmut83 . there is no predicting who i'll be crushing on next. i'd like to think i can recognize beauty and charm when i see it, regardless. actually, i think the main turn on for me, is a talented, deep thinking, intelligent person. when those things come together, looks don't matter. so mr. teddy bear seems like he's obviously talented at something!

actually, i think the main turn on for me, is a talented, deep thinking, intelligent person. when those things come together, looks don't matter. I wish I could be like that, Jiminy, I think that's the ideal, but reality is I'm more shallow: for me, looks always matter at least to a certain extent. I mean, even if the girl I posted as my neighbour were deep thinking, talented and all that, I wouldn't feel attracted to her. She would have to meet a minimum requirement of sex appeal (a quite low minimum, but a minimum still) for me to feel attracted to her. Otherwise I'd just admire her talent and deep thinking. Once that minimum is met, it's all the other factors that will add or decrease the appeal a person has: personality, thinking, intelligence, etc... And add to that something which is hardly ever listed but for me it's extremely important and can increase or decrease enormously a person's sex appeal: the way of speaking. It's a mix of the voice, the pace she goes at, the ways she expresses her ideas, how feminine (or not) she is, the gestures she makes... At times there are pretty girls that have a most unpleasant way of speaking and that's a huge detering factor for me. On the contrary, a girl who isn't particularly striking at first glance could end up being really attractive to me if she has a feminine and charming way of speaking. Weird, I know; not everyone will tell you that. But for me it's a key factor.

hey Helmut83, i suppose i am guilty of judging looks too, to an extent. should i meet the world's greatest, newest, philosopher, who also happened to be a talented musician, but his face was somehow mutilated or something, we would probably just be friends. and then concerning Olivia Wilde, i really know nothing about her personally. i suddenly become a fe/male chauvinist because as far as she's concerned, it's about the looks. i'm mixed up like that. for guys it's mostly the mind. for women it's mainly the looks. i would take a shallow, beautiful girl without thinking twice about it. so yeah, i'm guilty too. just a little mixed up eh? wish i could explain why.
