This is interesting, off the top of my head, if I go chronologically - and I will certainly include Xanadu. 1. Look At Me Now 2. Momma 3. Ma-Ma-Ma Belle 4. Eldorado 5. Evil Woman 6. Tightrope 7. Sweet Is The Night 8. Midnight Blue 9. I'm Alive 10. Ticket To The Moon 11. Secret Messages 12. Heaven Only Knows 13. Alright 14. When I Was A Boy I notice that I tend to pick the opening songs on the later, weaker albums... Oh yay Midnight Blue, you have good taste!

"The hits" tend to be worn out, at least for me.

I thought I'd already done this but apparently not.
To make it easier for me I'm sticking to tracks on the albums, not bonuses, and choosing so quickly that the list is very spontaneous - I'd be hours picking otherwise.
1. Nellie Takes Her Bow 2. From the Sun to the World (Boogie No. 1) 3. Daybreaker 4. Laredo Tornado 5. Waterfall 6. Mission (A World Record) 7. Sweet Talkin' Woman 8. Don't Bring Me Down 9. I'm Alive 10. Yours Truly, 2095 11. Four Little Diamonds 12. Heaven Only Knows 13. Easy Money 14. Ain't It a Drag
Funnily enough, by choosing spontaneously, I seem to have picked all the songs I loved immediately on hearing the albums for the first time.

Hmmmm in chronological order:
01 - 10538 Overture 02 - Momma (a sample was used here in Argentina by a legend, the late Gustavo Cerati) 03 - Showdown 04 - Can't Get It Out Of My Head 05 - Strange Magic (so hard to choose between this and One Summer Dream) 06 - Surrender 07 - It's Over (another hard choice) 08 - Shine A Little Love 09 - All Over The World 10 - Twilight 11 - Secret Messages 12 - Heaven Only Knows 13 - Moment In Paradise 14 - When The Night Comes
From 1974 to 1979 there's a big group of good songs, it's hard to choose!

I'm not sure ELO was so popular in South America. It was quite popular in Argentina and Chile, but that doesn't mean it was popular in other countries like Colombia or Venezuela. Have in mind we are a very large continent and despite being often lazily grouped by Americans and Europeans as merely "South America" our countries are very diverse, speak different languages and some are thousands of kilometres apart from each other. You will probably not guess which ELO song was a major hit in Argentina when it came out (and I mean major, in it's moment it was the foreign song that stayed more time at #1 in the charts)...

Helmut83 I think you've said it a number of times on here. Uh, yeah, I might. But just in case, let's say it once again: Even though you'll hardly believe it, "Last Train to London" was a major hit in Argentina, Chile and Peru.
