I do sympathize but imagine if he did come to Argentina and tried to pull off these kind of ticket prices, we've already discussed this Yeah, you are right (dsaKEaedMusefoksfndfa), although if he actually came to Argentina I'd go as far as selling my mother if I had to. Unfortunately South America is usually not in the radar of artists who were big before the '80s (I'm not a Queen fan, but if there's one good thing they did is being the first big artists to come to Argentina in the '80s... then many others followed). Jeff is in that lot and he never seemed too interested in going out of the English speaking world -except for a chalet in the Swiss Alps here and a few gigs at Amsterdam or German cities there-, let alone that country in the end of the world. Then again, South America is a huge continent. If he played in Colombia it would be so far away from my home (and almost as expensive) as going to the States. Buenos Aires and Montevideo would be perfect though, and maybe I could stretch myself up to Rio as well (wasn't he supposed to be going down to Rio at some point?). Surely the probability of this happening is even lower than that of us agreeing about music, Uno, but one can dream...

You know, my other big musical idol besides Jeff Lynne is Per Gessle from Roxette (well, you could include Paul McCartney there as well), and the guy doesn't make a mini tour without scheduling a date in Buenos Aires. It's a pity Jeff never got to experiment the passion for music in our city or I'm sure he would have become an addict like Gessle is. Some say Buenos Aires has the best atmosphere in the world (and, what's more surprising, some even say it when they are not here! ).

Hmm, I reckon it's MUCH more likely than that, since he last toured lots more bands have ventured down your way, the venues are probably better organised and the whole experience will probably be rather nice for him. You're right about the great reputation of the crowds there too, surely Jeff would appreciate his share of that smiley-cool15

See you in Nottingham! Really chuffed for Jeff that tickets sales look to be so strong.
