Watch attentively, BSJ, you've got to do it like this: 1) "I sent a message to another time..." (Yours Truly 2095). 2) "The early dawn, the shades of time...." (Twilight)

elophile. Did you and hubby figure out how many times "muscle tee" sung the word time? we counted a disappointing 27 total "times" for the whole album... I was hoping we were onto something but alas...

There must be footage somewhere, probably in a locked vault guarded by Jeff's crack team of executive heavyweight lawyers. Although in those days perhaps bands didn't film all their gigs the way they do today? Technology was a lot more dodgy and you probably couldn't get reliably good pro-shot film. I think Jeff has it locked away! I've heard rumors that it aired on TV in the UK...

I'll hopefully be able to reveal a few details about the long-rumoured Time Tour video in my upcoming book on ELO and the making of Secret Messages in particular, but until I can iron out certain things (mostly ensuring that my research is as accurate as it can possibly be then getting clearance to even disclose the information that was initially passed on to me in confidence), you'll have to settle for my assurance that it exists... or at least it did at some point, though such a concert absolutely wasn't broadcast on UK television. Would anyone be surprised if I was to reveal that not even the combined forces of Jeff Lynne, Rob Caiger, David Arden and Sony's Legacy division could get this one released* if they were all on the same page regarding a proposal for it to see the light of day? Let's just say that for me as a massive fan, it's heartbreaking to know what could have been!
*Eagle Rock Entertainment have stated an interest, though they lack the necessary finances required to negotiate with the identified owner of this holy grail for the benefit of us die-hards, and that's without taking into consideration the funds to locate, restore then produce something from this material - never mind the licensing costs it would take. I really do wish that I could say more, yet it's legally difficult for me to do so right now. My priority is to keep in the good books of two rather special contributors I've mentioned before, as I could give them a lot of personal headaches by divulging too much.

5) "And that's getting hold of you before I serve my time" (Ma - Ma) lol So all albums are valid? I thought we were doing it limited to "Time"...

Hey, people, why didn't you correct me? It's indomitable, not undomitable! So does this mean I've been making who knows how many mistakes and no one has ever told me anything?

But it looked OK to me English is only something I've learned as I've gone along, not studied properly. If it looks all right I'm happy, and I suspect so are other anglophones. For instance, my French teacher, who is French, worries hugely about whether to say "different to" or "different from" in English whereas I would just say the first one that came into my head and would probably be technically wrong most times. So don't worry!

Yeah, I guess that happens. Now that you mention it, I make lots of mistakes in my native language because of not caring about speaking well. As long as that practice doesn't make you forget which is the correct form, it shouldn't be that bad. I guess I should invoke vlogdance (who is so good in English) whenever I need some babysitting in linguistic matters...
