Set list guesses anyone? Surely if this is the last tour then he's got to do something different? The Battle of Marston Moor is a given.

I'm not at all sure there will be European dates. I think this is the last train to ELOville.

I'd like to hope the very last gig will be in Birmingham, even if there is no wider UK or European tour.
But as a few of you have already said, whoever is managing this needs to make sure it's as smooth and easy as possible for Jeff.

I'd imagine there'll be quite a lot of people who are keen to be involved in a Birmingham celebration if Jeff is happy to let it happen. His profile in the UK remains much bigger than in the US

I'm hoping for Twilight which at least has some precedent. I'd kill to hear Horace wimp, Poker, Hello My Old Friend and the Jungle.

My first thinking about this news was kind of disappointing...i was expecting a new album announcement. But then i thought about it and i'm sure a new album will be announced soon. It makes more sense in a publicity way to not announce tour and album at the same time (at least i hope so...)

If it IS to be Jeff's last tour, how about if he performs all those hits that have never been sung live, such as Diary Of Horacewimp, I'm Alive, Don't Walk Away etc etc? And one that hasn't been played since 1981-1982 & 1986, ELO's last Top 10, "Hold on Tight". PS-I also hope there's a studio album announced sooner rather than later that'll be the namesake of this tour as Over and Out! Wasn't that played at Hyde Park?

I don't suppose there is any way to find out what the ticket prices are until the pre-sale starts? My family is on board for us all going together if ticket prices are reasonable... 🤞 I just wish there was a way to know before everyone starts scrambling to get tickets!

I was wondering this too used to be you could find out the prices of the regular seats the special packages everything now it's only the very second they're available how obnoxious. If anyone does find out in advance I would love to know too so much anxiety in my part is related to that of course if anything will be available too.

Unfortunately I can't see him dusting off a new set list for what amounts to his swansong.
Possibly get Hold on Tight added but I can't see much else.

I went to Wembley in 2017 and Washington, DC, in 2019, so I've given good money to the Church of Jeff Lynne - not to mention all the reissues, blah blah blah. If I do go to one of these shows (Austin is the closest for me) I will be quite happy to sit far back. Like I will be at the ZZ Top show in Houston late in April. Even the late October shows are 7 months off from now - seems far off but it really isn't.

Is this the first time we’ve had a Jeff Lynne/ELO announcement that hasn’t simultaneously come from the Showdown list? Which asks the question, is it still active? Yeah, it's still active, I got an email last night in the 11 PM hour central time zone USA, Hi Showdowners! Here Is The News... "The Over and Out Tour"
