I see it's a K-tel issue, they are known as a budget brand that specialised in compilations back in the 70s and early 80s. Not seen this one before though.

Yeah, while I was doing the ELO Archive this came up a lot in Jeff's song database, but I couldn't fine any kind of recording or mp3/flac of the album.

Wow, that much? I would have thought more like a tenner at the most, it's not like there's any rare recordings on it.

Wow, that much? I would have thought more like a tenner at the most, it's not like there's any rare recordings on it. It's insane what sellers are asking. I started to do serious collecting a year or so before Jeff started to tour and happy I had the chance to nab some nice records before they, in some cases, shot up in price. Example would be the UK's Livin Thing 7" on blue vinyl I bought two for $2 each at a record show. Asking price now at a show is around $20 and on eBay is around $25 to $50 and doesn't include shipping. I remember receiving at least 4/6 records a month. Now I'm lucky to buy one in 6 months. Don't get me started on the cost of postage! A seller at a record show told me there was a time when he couldn't give ELO records away!

The seller had a box of them unsold behind the desk.

I think it's vinyl in general has suddenly leapt up in price. Mr Musette has started selling his old heavy metal albums and was astonished at the prices quoted on Discogs when he went to do some research. Sure enough, when he put them up for sale people were waving their wallets at him and demanding he take their money. All of us could be sitting literally on a fortune with our old collections, if we still have them.
