Has anybody seen in the public domain photos of ELO "B" shows during The Big Night Tour (1978)? These are the shows without the spaceship (which would be in transit to a future gig). I can't recall seeing any, especially on the major ELO websites. Tons of photos from the spaceship gigs, though.

Try on the Jeff Lynne Song Database site, look under the tour section there are a few there I took a look there, and found a few Japan, Australia, and European gig (which used the B) show photos, which were contributed by concert attendees. Most of those are no different than what would be shown on gigs supporting FTM and ANWR.
I was looking for the full stage photos of a B gig, photos taken by professional photographers hired by Jet. The same high quality that were taken for the A shows. That way we could see how different the B shows were from the A. Many of the spaceship photos are high up and set everything in context. The environment, spaceship, and the location of seats, etc.
When I Google for the B shows, nothing shows up except the A shows. There are numerous professional photos from the Time Tour 3 years later - and a tour that wasn't as significant that the OTTB tour.
I'm sure more B show photos exist somewhere, but they are very hard to find and are overshadowed by the A shows.

Jorge Devincenzi has just posted a video on the facebook Electric Light Orchestra (JLELO) which shows footage, from Germany I think, that may be of interest

I've seen all kinds of pics of Jeff Lynne and to me, this man doesn't look like Jeff. I realize that this is in fact Jeff but to me, he looks different than I am used to seeing him. Weird.

To be fair, there were few sightings of Jeff between him coming off the road in September '78 and when he emerged again early in April the following year for promotional material shot at Musicland Studios, so that transitional period between looks isn't documented so well. What also didn't help is that he spent most of that time either in Los Angeles starting to work on the Xanadu soundtrack or taking the holiday where he ended up writing the bulk of Discovery, though at least now we have another piece of the overall timeline puzzle (for those of us who like charting the appearance of band members).

I find it interesting looks change but mannerisms stay the same as we go through life. Jeff has a style all his own.

When was the last time you saw Jeff and Lindsey Buckingham in the same room? About 3:20 in the video, Jeff takes the stage in his Vegas Elvis stage.
