I apologize if this has been posted before, but I just came across this today. I've only watched the first two minutes of it, so no firm opinion on it yet, other than that it looks interesting.

I don't think I have watched it. Will be interesting, though....

The focus is on the early days of the band. Very interesting!

"If you can't say something nice..."
I'll let you all catch up before I unload both barrels, but I still feel terrible for the relative who presumably once found the DVD of this documentary in what I can only assume was the bottom of a bargain bin close to Christmas one year and thought of me! At least their heart was in the right place, and this does remain valuable as the only place to officially find some of ELO's "Set of 6" performance, mercifully also available as isolated bonus content instead of being split into licensed clips repeated with such frequency between some very predictable muso-type complaints (primarily about Roy's apparent pretension, delivered in deadpan fashion without a shred of irony) that they almost begin to serve as unintentional yet highly welcome comedic relief. For those of you who might like such attacks on low-hanging fruit punctuated with occasional archive gold also now readily available on YouTube, many of the same writers also contributed to pseudo-intellectual critiques on The Beatles, Queen and Radiohead, not to mention they're regularly credited in the kind of print media I've long since unsubscribed from because such chin-stroking rubs me the wrong way.
...and yes, that is the nice version!
