I'm assuming the addition production tag was a nod to the original attempt
Head of Machine Learning now there's a thing

How ironic is it that the same technological advances 40 years ago (which allowed Jeff to largely bypass his ELO bandmates) now, with the advent of AI, will bypass the need to go to Jeff to clean up old cassettes?
It is about now that I wish Jeff would ditch his recording "tendencies" and record an album in a studio (even his) with a real band in real time, like the Stones did with Blue and Lonesome.
As far as the new Beatles single, I though I saw that "additional production" was done by Jeff. That could be the 1995 work.

I'm guessing anything associated with any George related material would be accredited to Mr Lynne production. Placed my orders today for the R & B collection. I've heard 3rd hand that the song is divine and the video will be breathtaking. Glad to see it is finally seeing the light of day after all these years.

Im not getting this, it just sounds poor. It may grow on me but first impressions aren't great. The production is what you'd expect but its not in the same league as other post Beatles hits such as Real Love and Free As A Bird.

This should have been out a few months ago I think . Maybe they delayed release to get closer to Christmas. I can't see those videos but I'm going to wait until the song is officially released on Thursday to pass judgement . There is a great Beatles podcast called I am the eggpod which had an episode recently about Now and then and talked about the AI elements (including backing vocals lifted from Here there and everywhere and Eleanor Rigby) and the involvement of Peter Jackson. I think it's quite poignant when you consider that the last words John said to Paul were "won't you think of me now and then" which are part of the lyrics to a Carl Perkins song "My old friend" What I don't like much is the huge amount of money you have to part with to get the new expanded Red and Blue albums. You're looking at about £140!!

AFAIK Jeff did some work on the song at the time of Anthology but there was too much background noise that couldn't be removed at that time . The criticism of free as a bird and Real love is they sounded too "Lynney"!So maybe they wanted to move away from that. I know George said it was shit but I don't know whether he meant the quality of the song or the quality of the tape

The funny side is... The official release sounds JUST like a Jeff's production with fan-made strings. Good tune, good production. I can sleep peacefully now... His blueprint is there.
