Honestly, this doesn't like ELO to me at all and he barely looks like Jeff but, this was the best place I could think of to put this video. Hope you enjoy it.

Lovely song, the music is very much like something Jeff might write or produce, it's quite Beatley too.

here's a song meant for us - "Joining a Fan Club" by Jellyfish influenced by ELO, Supertramp, Queen, 10cc, Beach Boys...
in this song I hear Queen, but J'fish put out 2 albums of beautiful power pop and each song makes me think of another great band - they still have a cult following, but didn't stay together long enough to make it big (my favorite song by them is "That is Why")

orioles70 Yes, very much like Queen, with little hints of classic ELO here and there! Very nice! Thanks!

I just found this tonight, and I liked it. These guys were a tribute band that did ELO-inspired original music. I couldn't find any reference to them on here, but maybe some of you have heard of them?

Here's one I haven't listened to in years. "Secret Life" by the vastly underrated band Redd Kross

I liked the L.E.O. songs enough that I bought the album (Alpacas Orgling). Was hard to find - but located it at a Goodwill on-line store on the west coast. And - the lead singer from Jellyfish, Andy Sturmer, sings on the song you posted. The "group" was a bunch of talented musicians that got together for a fun side project - the thing they all had in common was a love for the music of Jeff Lynne. "Bleu" is a producer/musician that organized the project. I think they did one show and sold about 50 copies - so they sure weren't making the album in hopes of getting rich.

Yeah, I read up a little on them after I found that song. Pretty cool!

I don't think I've ever heard of Jellyfish before but the name seems familiar. I know I've never heard of L.E.O. - and it took me 30 minutes to get the gag in the name!
I really like the sound of both bands and will be listening to more. I especially love that that alpacas are involved in the L.E.O. album title .
The L.E.O. track sounds to me like an early ELO Jeff having a dream about his future and having a premonition of working with the Beatles.

Here's one I haven't listened to in years. "Secret Life" by the vastly underrated band Redd Kross I was liking Red Kross for a little while back before I totally lost it for ELO. I had this amazing Nick Gilder Pandora station that I had worked on and finely tuned for ages... it no longer had much to do with Nick Gilder. It had all this great power pop, garage and psych pop and it got kinda metal too. It had some Redd Kross songs on it. One day I forgot the password and then couldn't ever get back into the account.
