I read that he did some engineer work for T-Rex, maybe met Jeff etc. then but as for discovering them??? Also was part of the League Unlimited Orchestra,...wrong orchestra though

That should be Shirley Bassey who sang Goldfinger, Diamonds Are Forever and Moonraker, then I already had Martin Rushent's Wikipedia page linked in my first post!
