All Over the World is an absolute anthem and was used by many as an exit to Lockdown on twitter (over 20 years later) as a sheer celebration piece - if that's not a testament to it's greatness, what is? Just listen to that change to London, Paris...with the aircraft going over overhead. That's truly joyous stuff.
I've also voted for Confusion as it's a well-constructed, clever and catchy little pop song that has the last true vestiges of ELO about it. Try playing it on simple acoustic guitar or piano and you'll realise it's quite marvellous and not at all simple. It contains some of the cleverest pop writing from Jeff you'll see and why no-one of significance has covered it is beyond me, it's superb.
I know Hold On Tight will win through and yep, it's toe-tappin' and a relief after all the angst on Time so I get it but to me it's a three chord rockabilly slog a la Status Quo with shiny ELO production. The fact it sounds like a UK Comedy show theme of the time probably lowers it to me as well. Each to their own though.

The heavily R&B influenced Every Little Thing with it's subtle Middle Eastern textures, and the almost corny, but absolutely brilliant pop song Confusion.
