A very early and rare programme come album promotional leaflet for their album Electric Light Orchestra SHVL-797. This leaflet was available at the early concerts. It is a tri-fold information sheet showing the band members names full names as they were known (when they issued their details for printing) and lists loads of early reviews. The size is 8" and a half inches by 4" inches folded. The promo sheet was purchased from a fan who also sold me his concert ticket with which he attended the concert at the Guildhall, Portsmouth, Thursday 11th May 1972, he had kept both items he had purchased in mint condition for the past 50 years.

Someone sent me it about 20 years ago when I bought something else and he just put it in the package. Is it that rare ootbartifacts?

Timeblue I believe it is fairly rare, hard to come by as most were discarded or trashed, I had it authenticated by 2 other collectors as I hadn't seen one before. Hard to believe it's 50 years gone by since those concerts.

The concert ticket was 50p but I’II gladly double that if you want to sell it Timeblue.... Seriously though I really enjoy seeing all the ELO finds in the collectors section, keep them coming.

Talking about tickets I miss having actual tickets this printing your own tickets it’s not the same.

Is that the only time in which Jeff and Bev are referred to by their proper first names?

I wonder why it was printed like that, it's not like they were completely unknown to the music world is it? If they insisted on full names, why wasn't Roy down as Ulysses?

Following on from their first album promo leaflet and one of their early tickets, this is ELO's last concert ticket. A sad ticket, ELO's last concert as we knew them. Olympialle, München, Olympiapark, Germany dated Friday 5th March 1982. Four years later in March 1986 they appeared at the Heartbeat 86 Charity Show at Birmingham, the group, what was left of them intended to go on tour to promote their new album "Balance Of Power" and was booked to open for Rod Stewart in a series of concerts. The first of these concerts was at Wembley Stadium 5th July 1986 one in Paris, France was rescheduled or cancelled and they only performed at a further two, one in Dortmund and another at Stuttgart, both Germany with the latter being the last for ELO, until Jeff Lynne's ELO. The following link is to my collection of nearly 100 ELO concert tickets, I have a lot more to find yet! - outoftheblueartifacts.com/category/elo-memorabilia/concert-tickets/
