One of the greatest rock drummers, hands down. One of the best live shows I ever saw was in 1989 at the old Hoosierdome in Indianapolis, IN. with Living Colour opening up for the Rolling Stones.

Oh wow, sad news indeed. The quiet metronome of the band throughout their time, RIP Charlie.....

This has been a sad week in the world of rock and roll with Don Everly and now Charlie...

Very sad indeed to hear about Charlie passing away. He was the least flamboyant but the absolute coolest of all the Rolling Stones, we've lost a legend. RIP Charlie

The legends are getting old and that means we’d better prepare ourselves for a steady drumbeat of this type of news Go see your old faves while you can.

My Mom was a big Beatles fan, but told me that she respected The Rolling Stones for staying together as long as they have! May Charlie Watts rest in peace.

The facial expressions and reactions by Charlie Watts are priceless, as he plays it just like a comic straight man, one reason why I've always liked this music video for Start Me Up, The Rolling Stones from 40 years ago back in 1981!

Very neat to see this classy memorial for Charlie on my SiriusXM favorites site. Bowie's "All The Young Dudes" applies.
