That’s easy. Joe good, Donald bad. Both old.
Our Congress is going to be split. R’s control the Senate, D’s control the House.
The one thing that investors supposedly feared was a really close election with no clear winner. Yet the market soared today. I guess people are comfortable with gridlock- because everything is so good, no change needed... no that doesn’t make sense.
Life goes on. Hopefully Trump gets sent to the back nine.

A 'respected' British newspaper's headline yesterday had it's own opinion.

Flip in eck! Bernie knows - and knew - exactly what's going on.

I still don't understand what the Senate and the House means? The Senate is the upper chamber in our national legislature (Congress), and the House of Representatives is the lower chamber. Two Senators are elected from each state for six year terms. Those are statewide elections. Members of the House are elected according to Congressional districts at the (more or less) local level for two year terms. Larger states will have more Representatives than smaller states, but each state has two Senators. The party in the majority in each chamber elects its leader. Nancy Pelosi will remain Speaker of the House because Democrats have kept their majority there, and Mitch McConnell will remain Senate Majority Leader because the Republicans (also known as the GOP) will hold onto their Senate majority. I'll let someone else explain the Electoral College, although the BBC News website has a video that explains it on their US Election page, for those who are interested.

A 'respected' British newspaper's headline yesterday had it's own opinion. I know the headline's supposed to be funny, but the line that Biden is senile isn't true at all. He's got his wits about him; he's just kind of goofy sometimes.

I think what Timeblue is asking is what do Senators and Representatives do? What's the difference between them? Is it that laws are proposed in the House and ratified or rejected in the Senate?

President Spray Tan is gonna have to be dragged from the White House kicking and screaming like the child he is. It'll be nice not to have a sociopath as Commander in Chief.
