Does anyone know the location of the building pictured on the inner jacket of "Time" LP?
Or how about Isabella Creek. I'm told there is a message carved in it.

Off the top of my head I think it's a German bank or some financial institution.

Just found it joeyjoejoejr, it's the Bayrische Hypotheken Bank (popularly known as the Hypo-Haus) building across the street from Musicland Studios (where the Time album was recorded) Thanks to Jeff Lynne Song Database for the facts.

According to the Jeff Lynne Song Database, Musicland studios and the bank were just across the street from one another but looking at google maps there must be at least a mile or so between them...

I don't see the two pillars that the band is standing between. Unless the photo was doctored with the pillars added.

Maybe the building has had a refit or makeover...

The Hypo-Haus did indeed have a refit, but its distinctive exterior wasn't changed that drastically - that Google maps link was simply for a different building in Munich with a similar name! Here's the correct location: www.google.com/maps/@48.1514525,11.6178052,3a,75y,155.6h,105.5t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sKT04AjK242HYpxmoDZx7Qw!2e0!7i13312!8i6656 Musicland Studios occupied the basement of what is today called the Sheraton Arabellapark, and just across the street is a tower that should be familiar to those looking for a certain landmark from the Time inner sleeve (along with being the backdrop used on the subsequent Time Tour)...
