The only show that I know of that could very well be cancelled is the second Madison Square Garden show. They definitely bit of more than they could chew with that one. Otherwise the other shows have sold well.

Otherwise the other shows have sold well. Adding another show in New York was a head scratcher for me anyway. There are too many other cities where ELO would be a big deal. In NY its just another show.

The timing in 2001 was awful.
The album, Zoom, was dreadful.
The core fans from the 70's was busy doing other things than listening to ELO. Now the 70's fans are grandmas and grandpas and have time to go to concerts again.

Both Zoom and AITU are weak. 2 star efforts, out of 5. If I have to choose, I pick AITU because it is slightly closer to the classic ELO sound.

Nobody I talked to at the time new anything about it.

I have two tickets available for the August 4 show at The Forum in Los Angeles. If you are interested in purchasing them, message me.
To answer the post - assuming Jeff's energy level and overall health is good, I assume that 95% of the shows will occur. A second NYC show was a questionable move to me, since he is doing none in the southeastern U.S.

A second NYC show was a questionable move to me, since he is doing none in the southeastern U.S. It was questionable to me not because of places he wasn't playing, but because I could not see how he could think he could sell enough tickets to a second night. Of course I didn't think he could sell enough for the first night and I was wrong. I wish for everyones sake he played in every part of the country but I don't think he would be willing to play in smaller venues which might be neccessary in some places.

It appears the second NY show is selling well. I just hope Jeff and Richard don't wear themselves out.

got to see Jeff at Radio City in September 2016. That was a smaller venue than MSG and was wonderful. The set list will be similar, but add on an opening act this time. (there was a small classical group that played a few songs before the show last time). It is tempting to go again. My wife will give me grief, but we'll see.
