Absolutely love this from strange magic, what other two line lyrics strikes a chord?
You're walking meadows in my mind Making waves across my time

I like the idea of this thread! Thanks starlight! The one that comes to mind right away: From "Showdown" Bad dreamer, what's your name? Looks like we're riding on the same train. I'm sure there are many others worthy of mention...

I always like the start of Sweet is the Night
When the day is done and there's nowhere to run And the people of the city have all lost and won

I'm sure there are many others worthy of mention... My 70s copy of OTTD skipped at that exact spot, repeating over and over until I could move the needle. Those lyrics are burned into my mind. I finally got a decent turntable with a feather light cartridge and it skips no more!

A moving stream of information That is floating on the wind
Across the waterfall that's falling evermore down on you Cascading through the days and flowing on it's way

Two more favorites, both sad, and both from "Big Wheels."
I remember the dead of night A lonely light that shines upon the window
(Jeff really likes that "light on the window" image. It's in a number of songs -- "The Bouncer" and "Without Someone," for example.)
and
I see it all so clear The tenderness, the silent tears

I always like the start of Sweet is the Night When the day is done and there's nowhere to run And the people of the city have all lost and won also from Sweet is the Night I love: Oh you start to sway, check your Cartier 'Cause it's getting late, you can't afford to wait

I guess we can count little excerpt from "Jungle" as two lines....
Wondrous is our great blue ship that sails around the mighty sun And joy to everyone that rides along.

So many, but the first one I thought of was "She said that it's your duty, to save your soul. To save it for someone" -Moment in Paradise.

I can't help but immediately think of this from the Idle Race's 'Mr Crow and Sir Norman' -
Now come on Mr. Crow my dear We'd better have this gottle o' geer
And this from 'Sitting in My Tree' -
I often sit alone up in a tree Waving to the ones that wave at me

"The windows watch you as you walk along and the streets lead back to where you started from".
I always thought that, in a similar fashion to "Pumped up kicks" (for example), "Buildings have eyes" has that dichotomy between naive, silly, happy lightweight music and very dark, sinister, gloomy lyrics with a meaning deeper than it could seem at first listen (for example, it could be about paranoia).

As you roll across the night, don't tell nobody that I told you so.
