How about waiting to hear the whole thing? :-)

I can't wait,I just hope the whole show that I saw isn't as clinical and note perfect as that because it wasn't....

I have decided to buy the DVD from a physical high-street store rather than online. No, not because I'm in support of real shops (though I am) but because the postman might drop or bend my precious object and I want to inspect each DVD and choose the best. Sometimes I wonder if being an ELO fan has warped my brain...

Nah, you're just as nuts as the rest of us. I'm afraid of the damage that might be done to the vinyl too, mashed corners, etc.

Mashed corners?!
When I injure an ELO record I feel physical pain. However, curiously, I'm ok with "vintage damage", it adds to the history.

I once 'rescued' a vinyl copy of Time from a secondhand shop; it cost me $5 - without cover! It was a rip off; but I was happy to part with that much (the cost of a coffee) just to give the poor thing a nice home.
It was so scratched that it was virtually unplayable - so I turned it into a clock, which now resides proudly on the wall of my den.

Yes. But are you sure you are? I've recovered with only a slight case of PTSD

When I was in college this guy used to stand outside the school with boxes of the most scratchy, destroyed albums and sell them for 25 cents a piece. They were barely playable but I discovered so much great music that way... I bought The Rolling Stones' Sticky Fingers (with the real zipper) from him.

I love Jeff and ELO but instead of these "live" documents, I would rather listen to The Night The Light Went On In Long Beach, where you can hear it's actually humans struggling with their instruments.

My feelings too, what is the point of live show if it's tweaked beyond recognition, you may as well buy a greatest hits album.
