fernandoamado , the black death star ship ejecting the baby ships is pretty cool and kind of disturbing. And it's more of that science fiction advanced technology theme.

I like to think if the different spaceship models as Spiderman suits. There's the black one... And a thousand million variants of the red and blue one.

There's no doubt who had the best rock spaceship but who had the first rock spaceship? My Research tells me it was Parliament Funkadelic unless you count the flying lightbulb on ELO 2. I guess Parliament's spaceship was more of a funk spaceship than a rock spaceship but I still think they take the honors. Boston also seems to have beaten our ELO by a mere month with the Boston spaceship debuting in August 1976 while ANWR came out in September of the same year. 1975 Parliament - Mothership Connection 1976 Boston 1976 A New Work Record 1977 Out Of The Blue Parliament Funkadelic also had the first stage spaceship in 1975 with the p-funk mothership:

I won't be original about this and I'll add yet another vote for spaceship #1.

SPACESHIPS??? You call them spaceships? One looks like a light shade and the other looks like a hubcap. At least some thought went into ELOs.....

Another rock band who has a spaceship is The Flaming Lips. I think Wayne Coyne should just give in and start constantly admitting how much he wants to make sweet, sweet love to Jeff Lynne. ...and Miley Cyrus. He wants to make sweet love to Jeff Lynne and Miley Cyrus.
