I just got me a Samsung VR headset and great fun it is too. Loads of apps that you can immerse yourself in and have fun with. Some of the scary ones are just that..SCARY! even though it's just a game, the tension is built up and I found I had to take a breather from it. Other things like music videos that surround you and make you feel you are there are good. well worth £50....

I've watched a few music videos (U2 and Muse) where you are 'part' of the video,so it could be something that more artists will do in the future.

It probably costs a lot to film that kind of video though, so I suppose only well-established bands will be able to afford to make them. Jeff did have an impressive video backdrop on the last tour though, so he could well be appearing right behind you at any minute....

I don't think it would cost that much actually, you only really need one specialist camera (similar to what google use for their street mapping). It's the future I tell you!

I've got to try one of those headsets before I become blind or deaf or simply apathetic.

I've got to try one of those headsets before I become blind or deaf or simply apathetic. The one that I have is the Samsung gear VR which is for Samsung phones only, it only cost £50 and is really good. My son has the HTC Vive which is on a different level,it cost him £650 and can only be used on a decent spec pc and therefore is not really portable, whereas I can take mine anywhere.
