Just got back from a downtown palais a concert tonight. Chatted with a couple of chaps afterwards, the one in the middle came home with me. He's called Shovellin' Wilbeary, Shuv to his friends.  Now calm down, wolvesgirlgonewild and elophile! Things are not what they seem! I'll explain later, after I've had some sleep. See you back here soon. |

Did you have a good time? A wise choice you showed in adopting Shuv, you can see in his face he's thrilled to have been chosen to come home with you.

Great that you got the chance to see the Wilburys, Vlog! Was the experience for you as great as it was for Queen? Was the set of songs the same? Now, if that photo ever reached the hands of a certain other ELO member, we could have a scandal arising.  |

Heh, no danger of a scandal, Helmut83 - in fact, I took the opportunity to speak up for that very ELO member. As I approached the band's signing table, "Roy" said "You were in the front row, weren't you?" (The power of the white fur jacket...) I said yes, and asked "Jeff" if I could take a picture of my new friend Shuv with him. "Jeff" said yes straight away. While I was reaching for my phone, I mentioned to "Jeff" that I'd met one of ELO in real life. He asked, "Oh, who was that, then?" So I told him. And then blurted out: "HOW could you give him the sack? - a lovely man like that!" "Jeff" looked a bit taken aback at this, but "George" and "Roy", who were standing nearby, both had a chuckle. "Jeff" couldn't have been too cross, though, because he invited me to join him and Shuv for a picture. And "George" took the picture! In fact, he took quite a few. (And yes, the show was great, very similar to the experience queenofthehours described. Wolfie and elophile would have enjoyed "Bob"'s leather trousers. Although I would have awarded "Tom" the prize for trousering, that night. And I was in the front row...)  |

Ah, I'm sure he'd enjoy meeting his Wilbury tribute friends again, BSJ , especially Jeff. The trouble is, now he's lived with me for a year, I can't risk taking him along - he knows too much! |

Apparently it's quite hard to see them with the naked eye, you need to be looking through a camera or other type of lens?
