Jurgen is such a likeable guy (I know I'm a LFC fan...) I wasn't sure at first when he arrived at Anfield but he has been immense.

How's Bielsa being held by Leeds fans? I've read that there had been some exasperation lately (lately means barring the quarantine parentheses) with the ups and downs of the team, but just when fans were questioning him most the team pulled out like 5 consecutive wins. I think most fans see him as the saviour of Leeds, if we get promoted he will probably get a statue in the City Center next to some guy who was important in the industrial revolution. Well, if you look at where in the table Leeds used to be before him and where it has been under him, even in spite of the frustrating experience of last season and the fact that he hasn't achieved anything this season yet, the progress seems undeniable.

Leeds HAVE the 'bottlers' tag given their recent history (and up until last year so did Jurgen) but I think they both have turned that corner now and I reckon Bielsa has instilled some sort of discipline in the team. I look forward to seeing Leeds in the premiership next season...

With LUFC so near to the return it's a shame that Paul Madeley,Norman Hunter and Trevor Cherry won't be around to see it happen....

I'll reserve judgement on him being ranked with Bill and Bob just for the time being, if Steven Gerrard hadn't slipped that day then Brendan Rodgers could well have been a god by now. Such is life....

He’s off to a great start, champions league, premier league, super cup and club World Cup. I would like to see them give the FACup a serious go, I still think it’s a great one to win. Brendan is a super manager, he was so close that year. If they had won Jurgen might never have been Liverpool manager. He may even have ended up at MU

Sad to see Wigan being placed into administration. Never like seeing any club in trouble or having a points deduction. I wish them well for the rest of the season. In an ideal world promotion and relegation should always be decided on the pitch.

I can't believe I never realised Liverpool hadn't won the league for 30 years! And I'm a Liverpool fan.
I'm putting my ignorance down to the fact that I haven't bought the official magazine since 1996 so I've not been the most active fan and not winning the league in six years back then wouldn't have been worthy of a lot of worry. Even so, I'd heard nothing until now about this 30 year wait. I'm sure if it had been Man U we'd have heard about it every year.
Also, Man City - how come they are doing so well these days? In the 90s I'm pretty sure they were seen as a joke.

external cold hard cash ..... Since 4 August 2008, the club has been owned by Sheikh Mansour, one of football's wealthiest owners, with an estimated individual net worth of at least £17 billion and a family fortune of at least $1 trillion.[2] Sheikh Mansour bought the club in 2008 for £210 million in a much publicised deal and has since accumulated annual losses of £535 million, excluding approximately £200 million on facility upgrades.[3] However the value of the club has soared tenfold from £210 million in 2008 to over £2 billion in 2018 according to Forbes representing a realistic opportunity of profit on Mansour's investment if he was to sell the club to a willing buyer at the market rate.[4] Although the club is still majority owned by Mansour, in 2015, a 13.79% stake purchase of the club's parent company, City Football Group (CFG), by the CITIC Group for £265 million valued it at $3 billion.[5]
