Whoa! Whoa! The two of youse! Front and center! *upside the head smacks* Enough! *snort* dillwyn 's thread cannot be messed about! *grrrrr.....* (oh, Helmut, almost forgot. I've a Spillers Records bag too. *thuuuuuuuuuuth.....*) my own fault for not providing video evidence. The T shirt was my little bit in Cardiff in Bristol . Given the severn-side rivalry I thought that was one I could get away with. Bizarrely on the night someone introduced themselves as being from Swansea (the other rivals) and remarked on it.

Yeah, come on, Dillwyn, expose yourself a bit and provide that video evidence! Look at my trip thread, I exposed myself in most every way possible there and now you are shy about sharing a video with us because you don't sing like Freddy Mercury?

Great, dillwyn! Loved what I heard, really energic song and I liked the melody a lot. Your singing is not bad at all, don't be humble when there's no need to; and the effect of the change of voices is great when the lady gets in. Great stuff. What's the song called? "Temporary madness of my heart"?

Thanks Helmut. Almost right, it was 'Temporary Madness of the Heart' It was the title track from the second album. Originally recorded with a different singer. I only sung the verses as she was suffering a sort throat.

Yes originally in G, transposed to B flat for voice in the higher register when I needed to overdub the vocals with the better voice.

Hey Helmut Google has been kind to me and let me refind this short film (10 mins) we did some incidental music for in 2003 ... it is very dated now and bear in mind this was no budget so recorded at home ... based on directors instructions he wanted low fi and dark ... I decided to go with what was to hand move the opposite way from distorted guitars and go korg 80's sounds.

Great work, dillwyn . Very "synthy". Incredibly atmospheric, so much that during the first time I watched the film I got hooked by it's plot and paid no attention to the music. That, in my opinion, is the best praise you can get when making background music for a film like this one. It means that the music goes along so well with the atmospheres and rhythms of the different parts of the film that it does never get in "first plane". Of course then I watched it again only paying attention to the music and could appreciate what a delicate and fine job you did. I assume the director was pleased with it? I noticed that the music is credited to you and another guy...

Thank you Helmut for taking the time to listen again. It was difficult in an 11 min film with no theme allowed, so they became short refrains I guess. I'm not sure he was ever pleased with anything but I did get a thank you and it was used so I must have done something right. The guitarist got a writing credit as he appeared on the first quiet bit, the rest is me and a warped imagination.

Whilst looking for a track to upload yesterday I came across this loaded up years ago .... this was the recorded version of that song I sung live soundcloud.com/sirenblue/01-temporary-madness-of-the/s-KeGl8
