Did I see someone say he played for about 1 hour 20 yesterday. To be honest the tour set list needs to be substantially longer otherwise people will feel short changed given the ticket prices. How long did FMac and Eagles play for recently?

jackpunch. When I saw Eagles in '10 it was close to 3 hours, including intermission. I just checked online and a show they did in Atlantic in '14 was the same time.

I'd take 3 hours, that's not too greedy is it. After all, he'll not tour again and he has got a day off booked after each gig,

jackpunch, No. Best remember Eagles are all stars in their own right, and play their hits or have their signature song. Fleetwood Mac has that advantage as well.

I saw Fleetwood Mac earlier this year and they played comfortably over 2 hours. It wasn't one of the best concerts I've ever seen but it was OK. Paul McCartney on the other hand was absolutely brilliant and played for three hours with no break at all.
And he's older then Jeff!

My 3 hours was tongue in cheek, i cant post smileys so my humour got a bit lost. Seriously though, think it needs to be a 2 hour show.

Seriously though, think it needs to be a 2 hour show. lol i was thinking maybe a couple of days... .....that way he could go thru all the albums a couple of times....throw in a few stories and have a few surprise guests on....have a break for food.... .....and finish with AITU....as you say.....its not too much to ask is it... lol

I'm still surprised all these years later by the suggestion that Jeff had rehearsed songs from Armchair Theatre and the Traveling Wilburys albums for the Zoom Tour, as it's clear the Storytellers and DVD recording shows were intended to showcase more the hits. Based on previous setlists, Jeff's usually quite rigid with what gets played throughout a tour, only rarely holding rehearsals later to incorporate new songs, such as happened in 1982 when The Way Life's Meant To Be was added to European concerts after this became ELO's most recent single. Can we expect any surprises over the Hyde Park show, with the exception of a few tracks from Alone In The Universe being introduced in favour of what were undoubtedly deeper cuts such as Rock 'N' Roll Is King and Handle With Care? Also, what's with the lack of attention for the '80s era material? I'd be interested to hear Jeff revisit at least something from Balance Of Power with the more fleshed-out group behind him, though my biggest dream would be for an all-out version of Let It Run, plus maybe Buildings Have Eyes, Twilight, Four Little Diamonds, Danger Ahead, The Diary Of Horace Wimp or Hello My Old Friend, the last two especially backed with a full orchestra...

Jeff seems to hate his 80s work. I was shocked when he opened that big show with All Over The World. 1:20 will piss a lot of people off. He could add at least two Zoom songs and three 80s songs, no problem. But Jeff loves brevity now. A 32min album? No problem! Maybe he feels a 20-song 80min show is right.
