not WHERE he'll be playing but if the tickets SELL OUT before I can get my wallet out. I think the same! Or the section I want is taken! It would be nice if the fans got some priority booking before the general public, maybe by a code distributed by the Showdown list, this sometimes happens for other bands.

I'm sure there will be enough dates in the UK to accommodate. He could play several gigs at two or three venues. Not sure about the States though. I can't see Jeff touring extensively like in the old days.

New Muse tour was annnounced on Chris Evans's show last-but-one Friday, obviously Jeff can't do anything less exciting and lose face so I'd say we're in for something very good indeed Oh, and if you pay me in beer too I'll come and watch the show in your back garden Chippa

I wish Jeff would take touring tips from Bev and Jasper Carrott - maybe then he'd make a date for my home town! You are from somewhere around Liverpool, aren't you, Queen? Hey, I don't have this problem, but if I were in your position (same as for many other guys both in the UK and in the US) I'd go peeping through the slot of my piggy bank to see if there are enough coins and if so I'd be planning a radio of action in which I could move if Jeff made a concert somewhere in there. Like, for example, if you are from Liverpool and he plays in Manchester. I know prizes are high in the UK, but distances are also very short; that's an advantage.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I think that as far as the UK is concerned it'll be the 3 nights at the O2 ,3 in Brum. Maybe Glasgow but that'll be it. Also Spring 2016 makes sense if Jeff's going to use Mike Stevens and Take That's touring band as TT aren't doing anything next year as far as I know.
I'd spend a small fortune on a meet and great but cant see that happening!

apparently Jeff's also going to be on the One show on Friday evening 7.00pm BBC1 Jeff owns that show! This will be the third time he's appeared in less than three years - which is a lot of work for young Jeffery. Not quite, more the Sheffield area, but I'd be willing to travel that far!
What I think might happen tour-wise is that ELO will play extremely large shows in London (outdoors? Maybe Hyde Park again?), Glasgow, Manchester, Belfast and Brum all at outrageous Rolling Stones size ticket prices because, hey, the promoters will be seeing dollar signs when they look at Jeff.
Less likely but ideally, in a happy world, tickets will be no more than £20 and take in such venues as Sheffield City Hall (it's good enough for the Moody Blues, Jools Holland and Joe Brown), Blackpool Opera House, Liverpool Philharmonic and Bournemouth Pavilion. I've an inkling The Lowry and Sage Gateshead could be contenders to host the Jeffster but I haven't decided if this is good yet.
We could perhaps hope for a televised concert? Certainly another DVD surely?
How about a Friday Night is Music Night? With orchestra broadcast from a central London theatre? I truly hope ELO play central London, at least the capital is well connected.
Big dream - THE ALBERT HALL!!!

I live only a shortish train ride from Birmingham so some dates in and around venues such as Symphony Hall (A-May-Zing venue/accoustics) NIA, NEC/LG/Genting/Whateverthehellthey'recallingitthisweek arena would be ideal.
I imagine he'll plug the new Bryan Adams album, maybe talk about his new deal with Columbia and possibly announce a second re-recorded album.

I doubt a label like Columbia would get behind another album if it was merely another set of re-recorded songs. It's new stuff they're after - especially now that Jeff is a marketable commodity again. In any case Jeff is on record as saying it's a new album of recorded material and that it was almost complete. That was back in the Spring. I think the any tour announcement will come later.
