Listening to Boom Radio's Vintage Charts show. It's 1977 this hour and Rockaria! is playing as I type. (Up six to number nine.)
DJ John Peters joked "After a false start - it's the Electric Light Orchestra", referring to Mary's "oops".

I'm liking the Sabbath Black! Also, what does the 11 represent? It’s the number of Birminghams outer circle bus route.

borderlands.movie/Went to the movies today and in the trailer for a new sci-fi movie with Kevin Hart in it the whole trailer had Do Ya playing throughout it. How great would it be if it gave a lot of exposure to this song?

I missed this movie (probably would have needed to see it with an adult). Soundtrack is chock full of ELO songs from my favorite album and 47 years later I find out about it. Has anyone seen the movie or got a copy of the soundtrack?
it was an early film for Melanie Griffith and the trailer voice over is Casey Casum of American Top 40 fame but Rotten Tomatoes gives it an 18% audience approval which is about as low as they come

Bought it in the late 70s (after OTTB and before Disco-very), when I believed that Jeff Lynne could do no wrong. Haven't played it since, and wouldn't attempt it now.
