Ah, Man Behind the Green Door, what a total classic lol
Another source of endless quotes by my Mum and I, using the authentic accent, of course.

As much as I love Keith Marshall's Musical Anarchy performed by the wonderful Ade Edmondson, Ade's accent is a bit questionable! Not the best attempt at the Brummie accent!

Well would be an appropriate clip since Andrew Sachs who played Manuel in Fawlty Towers has died recently, RIP.

RIP Andrew Sachs.
Manuel was just the most perfect character, especially as he was an animal lover. Basil the rat's appearance in a biscuit tin never fails to make me cry with tears of mirth -

Saw this sketch a few weeks ago for the first time. Just had to share it with you all. (For non-British forumheads who might not have heard of the Open University - it's known for enabling people to study by distance.) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open_University It used to show a lot of its lectures on telly, very early in the mornings. You could switch on at the crack of dawn and learn about the most niche topics. This sketch makes affectionate fun of the type of lecturer and subject you were likely to see if you happened to catch one of their broadcasts in the early '70s.

Not comedy sketches or anything, just some nice studio bloopers, but I laugh so hard every single time (and I’ve watched them a lot). They’re essentially the same thing, just the second one has some animated drawings that are hilarious and cute too. Enjoy:

A young Terry Jones and Eric Idle, pre-Monty Python, in a sketch show called Do Not Adjust Your Set (1967-69). A bit silly, but Eric's great fun in this.
