Very cool Perkins-McCartney video, Helmut; just watched it. Jim Yeah, it's fantastic. Carl Perkins was an amazing songwriter -in his style, yeah, the 3-chords type, but still- and you can see how Paul, who was a much more complex songwriter, admired him a lot.
