My one expectation for late 2022 is that Jeff will see Kelly's face on a sunflower in his backyard, a sign that he will make up with all living former band members for a one night only concert. Sort of like a Flaming Pie but not quite. More seriously, my expectations are pretty low. Basically ground level. If he continues to do what he has done the past year or two, my funds will go to legacy artists who release much more worthwhile musical product. Needless to say, a 17th Greatest Hits package (with two "new" songs) won't do it for me.

I Have No Expectations...I Think We Will Get A New Album In The Style Of "AITU" and"FOON" In 2022 (And That In The Best Of The Scenarios) I'm Not Expecting Any Tour Or Archival Release Though I Won't Be Surprised If He Decides To Do A "One Night Only Show" But Definitely Not A Big Tour... Pretty much my thoughts as well

I agree with everyone who said his touring days are over. Maybe a live performance here and there, but the big multi-city tours are done.

Jeff buys a real submarine and names it "Bruce".
As expected, it brings him down.

I expect a lot of gems from the archive releases aimed at us rather than the wider public... I feel I may be disappointed.

Come to think of it, that would be another excellent question to ask Jeff.

Well I don't have quite as gloomy a forecast when it comes to live activity, as I think that last year's tour cancellation equates to unfinished business for Jeff.
I'm predicting that a new album in 2022 will be followed by a tour of some form in late 2022 or perhaps 2023. Go with me on this one!

Why. What difference does it make?

Why. What difference does it make? ELO was / is a global band. So why only play America and Europe? That is a very relevant question. And not on the same 6 question menu.

I agree with everyone who said his touring days are over. Maybe a live performance here and there, but the big multi-city tours are done. And that's why I still think he'll sell his music rights. The inability to tour has cost artists a lot of income, which is what David Crosby said in a statement when he sold his rights, “Given our current inability to work live, this deal is a blessing for me and my family."

ELO Part 2 wasn't ELO, especially after Bev left and Kelly Groucutt passed away. What people saw after that was a tepid cover band with a Jeff Lynne wannabe named Phil Bates at the helm.

Sorry, I've got no idea what that means. In terms of playing Europe and US only. The costs of taking the band on tour must be vast. I doubt there's a business case for 3 gigs in Australia, 1 in Japan and 1 in NZ.

If you play in obscure parts of the world, it's easier to deceive people into thinking you're legit.
