I can't stand this anymore! Buttler We're all in this together. Here's a little encouragement in the face of adversity, courtesy of the Doobie Brothers: "..It's still such a long road and we're a long way from the start." "If you take the blues in your stride, all you need's a song to survive..." "We won't be here waitin', worried, wonderin', wishin' we were somewhere other than right here, but baby we're right here." I missed my June Doobie Brothers 50th Anniversary Tour Concert this summer (with really cheap tickets), so I'm making up for it by listening to them a lot when I take my daily walks. Take care!

This cute North Carolina family has been making viral music videos (comedy, parodies, etc.) for a number of years. Some of their latest offerings are quarantine themed. Here is a sampling. Something to make you smile in these crazy times!
Enjoy!

There is no shortage of COVID parodies online, if you like such things. (Obviously, I do! ) Here's another excellent parody from a different group: "RO-NA," a parody of Outkast's "Hey Ya!" Brilliant! (He's telling the truth about Florida, too!) If you haven't seen the original video, check it out, too. It's a classic!

Here's another really funny one from The Holderness Family. They're so goofy and fun! Let's hope we don't have to go back to these days, though....

Anyone else who is struggling at the moment, stay strong dillwyn Are you all finding that the lockdown helped to bring down the number of new reported cases? Is there going to be a gradual reopening process? We in the US are entering a very dark period with the pandemic. It would be nice to know what is working elsewhere.

There is an argument that Wales should be staying in
but here is what the bbc are saying ... Wales is starting to see a "levelling off" of Covid-19 case rates, the country's health minister has said on the final day of its 17-day lockdown. Vaughan Gething also said mass testing, as being trialled in Liverpool, will be considered in Wales' high case rate areas like Merthyr and the valleys. He said the full impact of the lockdown would not be seen for two weeks yet. Opposition parties have suggested high case rate areas should have stricter local rules.
England it is argued have gone in several weeks too late. Wales, Scotland and NI having gone earlier and the theory is it is less impactful. Time will tell.

Ouch, indeed!
50,000 - so far!
On the other side of this tragedy there needs to be an honest and probing enquiry.

Last Friday night The Late Late Toy Show went ahead, despite the pandemic. Among the many inspirational children featured, was one chap whose ambition it is to be CAPCOM with NASA. The pandemic means we can't hug anyone. Adam gets around that with his very unique 'hug for u'...
